Huge fight on the pitch but defeat from Juventus
Ferencváros suffered a 4-1 defeat from Juventus in the Champions League group stage.

Ferencváros Budapest has been playing several difficult games in recent weeks and this series continued tonight against Juventus in the UEFA Champions League Group stage. The match was organized at the new Puskás stadium in front of supporters, thus a good atmosphere was guaranteed from the first minute till the final whistle. The Italian team quickly took the lead: in the 7th minute Morata finished an attack from close but after the goal our team became an equal partner of its opponents. We were not much behind in ball possession and had our chances but lacked the real shots on target. The teams went for half time with a 1-0 Juventus lead.

In the second half Juventus took advantage of the mistakes of our players, some signs of tiredness clearly showed in the middle of the period: Morata scored first in the 60th minute, then Dybala caught the ball inside our penalty area and extended his team’s lead, and finally Dybala scored his second and the team’s fourth goal tonight with the help of Dvali's blocking attempt. Ferencváros did not give up however and substitute Boli received the ball after a shot in the 90th minute and finished the attack with a Fradi goal from his second attempt.

With a huge fight and sometimes nice play, we partnered Juventus but still left the pitch with a 4-1 defeat.
