MARQUINHOS EQUALIZED, DRAW AGAINST PUSKÁS
Ferencváros played a 1-1 draw against Puskás Academy at the Groupama Arena.

Our 34-time champion men's football team hosted Puskás Academy in the 25th round of the OTP Bank League. In the match before the national team break, Dejan Stankovic voted for the starting line-up of Dibusz - Botka, Wingo, Cissé, Civic - Maiga - Loncar, Abu Fani - Zachariassen, Varga B., Marquinhos.

First Half

Our team took the initiative in the first minutes, in the third minute a shot by Barnabás Varga was blocked by the visitors' defenders. A minute later, Abu Fani's effort was saved by Pécsi, then Zachariassen's cross was gathered by the Felcsút keeper. The first away situation came in the 10th minute, when Golla missed the goal. Shortly afterwards Loncar was brought down inside the penalty area, but after a lengthy review by the VAR, no penalty was awarded. In the 17th minute Zsolt Nagy shot from distance, but Dibusz saved confidently.

In the 32nd minute, Civic sent Barnabas Varga on the front foot, and our striker headed centimeters wide of the left post. Seven minutes before the end of the first half, Levi got into position, his shot was pushed over the goal by Dibusz. In the 40th minute, Zachariassen headed the ball back to Barnabas Varga, but our striker's attempt was off target and the sides left the pitch at an even result.

Second Half

Two substitutions at the break, Makreckis and Kodro came on, Zachariassen and Botka stayed in the dressing room. In the 46th minute our opponent took the lead: Colley scored (0-1). Shortly afterwards Kodro could have equalized, but Pécsi saved his shot towards the short corner. In the 57th minute, Komáromi started on the right wing and shot from distance, but his shot went over the goal. Five minutes later, Abu Fani had a chance to take a corner, Kodro arrived to the crossing but Pécsi saved the header.

In the 77th minute, the equaliser came: Szevikjan played in Ben Romdhane, who crossed the ball into the centre and Marquinhos shot into the visitors' net (1-1). Five minutes later, Dibusz showed a great effort, Plsek's shot was deflected by Cisse, but the goalkeeper's foot pushed the ball onto the post. In extra time, Kodro's effort was saved by Pécsi, so there was no further goal and the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
